a Wireless Broadband communication system based on IEEE 802.16 Family Standards
but i need to ask you a question, Why don't you try to do a very simple search to find what you need.
you can use this website to get some info to beggin with

in Pakistan wimax is available
about other countries i dont know much

here setup cost is very very high even for home user

WiMax is not next version of 3G, if that was what you meant. WiMax is different and is competing with future 3G (Super 3G and 4G technologies)

WiMax specification can be obtained from IEEE. The mobile standard is 802.16e-2005.

WIMAX

You should see some simulation about WiMax's MAC layer and physical layer with NS2. I think they are very useful.
