is it better to use a transistor with a smaller or larger gate length to get better ip3 results?

thanks in advance...

Re: ip3 vs. gate length

Increasing IIP3 means improving the linearity of the diff pairs. It is known that the linear range of a diff pairs i-o c/cs is proportional to √Veff --> using larger length for a fixed bias current and fixed width would result in larger Veff and improved linearity
