matlab modulation waveform

I have read about functions for digital modulation in MATLAB , pskmod pammod etc, but I could not plot the modulated waveform..

in matlab 6 there was dmod and you could plot the modulated carrier,

can anyone help ..

I dont want scatter plots I want time domain representation of digitally modulated signals...

pskmod

HI,

You probably have much more experience than me and I may be saying something obvious, but for all I know pskmod gives a complex valued vector, so I do not know what kind of plot command you want to use (simple "plot"... or matlab existing plots for modulations as you mentioned dmod)... If it was a simple exmple, I'd do plot(real(pskmod(x,M)));... and if you want to add the time , you probably have it in your model to add to the plot...

Sorry if it's something stupid what I'm saying...

dmod function in matlab

thanks,

actually I've tried doing what you suggested,, but it doesnot work, even if it did a mere plot is not what i want,

actually if you know there was a function dmod , y=dmod(x,fd,fc,fs,'type');

that retured y as a modulated carrier,,

I need a similar functionality...

digital modulation matlab program

i suggest u to use matlab 7

you can add the modulated carrier by yourself
and not use the function dmod
