Design for Test is a big area. A little googling will take you a long way. There are a couple of web sites: **broken link removed**, and DFT Digest (my own), that deal with the subject exclusively. I have some introductory discussions on my site. If you have specific questions, ask them. We're glad to answer.

Design for test for digital circuits almost always start with scan/ATPG methodology. So that's a good place to start. Here's a link for a **broken link removed**. It's not the ultimate in info, but it's a start.

Also there was a thread here, not long ago with some material.
