I want to know how will u design HF preamplifer?

Frequency : 88~108Mhz.
NF : Minimum
Sensitivity : high
Impedance : 75 ohm input/output

All the S & noise parameters of the BJT transistor r available in 50 ohms.
Negative feedback cannot be used for wideband matching because it reduces sensitivity.

Thinking of using bandpass filter at the input. This should be made to to get maximum gain & low noise.

How will u design bandpass filter with Zin is in polar form? Or there is any other way to do it?

Hi,

You can most probably get help from this Book.

Advanced Techniques for RF Power amplifier design.

This book is more suitable for small signal amplifier design:
Microwave Transistor Amplifiers - Analysis and Design by Gonzalez.

Thanks! i hv downloaded both the books.
But i need specific info about designing 75 ohm input output circuit which is not avaialble with many books i hv gone throu. What i hv come to know that it can be easily done with software like ADS. but i can't afford it being a student.
