pic16f84 based ac motor project

Hello there..here I have a project that required AC motor which is control by using PIC16F84.. Can anybody guide me with :

a) Idea to connect this two device - PIC and AC motor.
b) If possible, can anybody to attach a website link that can help me to solve the problem.

Microchip have a Motor control section with application notes and sample code for all types of motors.
The 16f84 is rather old and expensive. There is a much wider choice now.

You have not indicated the voltage and power rating of the motor.
If it is just a small motor of 50V and less than 2 A, You can drive it with a Microcontroller of the motor control family(16f684a) or the 18f series with dedicated motor control peripheral. You would also require an H bridge as an interface between PIC and Motor. For very low power, L29X family would meet your requirment. For higher power, you would need Discrete H Bridge to meet the demand of motor, or IGBT with IGBT driver modules which can be interfaced with the PIC Micro.
