Hi,
We are doing a 2kW Inverter, 115VAC output at 18A.
Vin = 18 to 36VDC
Input current at full load/Min vin is 150A.

We need to add an inrush limiter for when the vin is connected/switched on/
We will do an inrush resistor switched out by a relay.
Can you think of better ways than this?

The ciruitry is
Boost-->Boost-->LLC-->Inverter-->115VAC

I am assuming a boost frontend?
How does the input voltage turn on looks like?
What is the expected inrush current?
Does the input source have internal current limit?
What is the maximum allowed inrush current your SMPS can handle repeatedly?

High current relays are not ideal solution and maybe there is no need for one.
Another possible solution can be a P-MOSFET with miller capacitance soft start.
