Re: positiv 20 expose pcb

There is a company
Image Technology Enterprises
Pune(India)

It gives negative photoresist developer and complete kit for INR500
It gives a very good quality output once we get the hang of the process.

I wanted some positive photoresist kit or a way to make negative films

they are selling liquid type photo resist and they have dealers in Bangalore , madras, and cochin

Re: positiv 20 expose pcb

thank you rajdup, can you help with a company name or contact information.

i also wanted to do through hole plating.
there are some rivets on rscomponents and megauk.com they are around 23pounds for 1000 pcs +taxes transportation etc.

Is this Photo resist PCB making process is better than silkscreen PCB making process ?? I want to know in which method the PCB quality is better or both can produce same quality PCB only method is different.

with photo resist you can make small track( i used 0.1mm with 0.1 mm gap ) without any costly equipments, for screen printing for this quality you need costly equipments.

and for small qty preparing screen is costly compared to photo resist

making time will be less compared to screen printing

for diy users i listed dry film photo resist in www.ebay.in with developer and stripper

I feel that , if you are able to get positiv20 (rs components) sells, it would be easier as it is positive photo resist spray

Re: photoresist pcb

Hi,
I am looking for positive or negative photoresist and photoresist developer suppliers from Mumbai, does anyone has any contact?
I will be using normal copper clad board.
kindly help.

Well i am from India, and i know things like photo resist etc are really hard to find. Its not available even on websites like eBay. I had to make some pcbs few days back and i had to try toner transfer method. you can buy some photo papers from stationary( Make sure you don t get premium ones, i once bought premium ones and toner transfer failed because these papers had some sort of coating or something that dries out the toner too quickly or something) so get some cheap photo papers and try toner transfer method, It works
Just print it on normal paper and go to xerox shops and tell them to copy it on the photopaper u give.

Another method is find some shops where they perform screen printing, They do help us sometimes.

I had lost my patience with xerox guys,as even while prepared tp pay at Rs10 each print, the guys stared behaving as if they were damaging their machine. Later i ventured for my own HPLasterJETP1007.

As regards paper,
of late i get 10PCS A4 Sheets Heat Toner Transfer Paper For DIY PCB Electronic Prototype Make at less than $2 from ebay.
we can conserve the paper by cut pasting needed size on a prep-printed A4 normal paper. After effective toner transfer the paper can slowly be peeled off while the pcb is still halfway hot.

I get good results with this paper and i an very happy. With large ground plane copper fill i observe some pit holes. For normal PCB it is just fine.
No need to dip in water, scrub with toothbrush nothing of that sort.

Haha.. seriously,, i had same experience, All those xerox guys turned down saying paper is thick, this tat.. bla bla..At last i found a guy in the corner of the city who doesnt really have much customers. So he agreed to print it.. :)

and regarding the paper u told.. where did you buy it from ebay.com ? How many days did it take to get it ?.. I didnt find anything on ebay.in..

The easiest way is to buy presensitized boards (like those manufactured by Bungard and others), there are tons of resellers on Ebay and AliExpress so anyone can buy them. They ship worldwide.

I make boards using the process described in this article: https://www.ijeir.org/administrator...arch/files/publications/IJEIR-454 Final N.pdf
Exposing presensitized boards under UV, developing in sodium hydroxide and etching in iron perchloride.
