Hi folks,

anyone know how to introduce a DC voltage in simulink ? there is a Dc vlotage block in SimpowerSystem and in Simscape libraries but they cannot be used in simulink ,how I can introduce for example 1.8 v DC voltage in simulink...I need to add it to some othe signal

thanks in advance

Regards
Farid

You can't directly connect a Simscape block to a Simulink block, you need a conversion block - look in the utilities library.

Thanks Dave9000

But Would you please explain a bit more what should I do, since I'm beginner with simulink

regards

OK, you need 3 blocks from various Simscape libraries:
1. from electrical\electrical sensors: voltage sensor (connect your input voltage and ground)
2. from utilities: PS-Simulink converter (connect to the voltage sensor, output goes to simulink)
3. from utilities: solver configuration (connect to any voltage net)

I appreciate your explanation , that helped me so much.

thanks
