Hello
this is my first post here
I want to know if someone tried or done this project

SMS remote control v3.0 :: Based on GM-47 GSM module.

I am working on it and unfortunately I hit some problems and it would be great if I could find any help here

Thank you in advance for your time to reading this

i read the site. what exactly is the problem. There are some spelling mistakes in describing the circuit (like- sim holder is reffered as K15 instead of K4 ...).
Hopes that this is not your problem.

Hi
My problem is that i tried to start the modem and the led is off....now I am try to connect it by serial to my pc to use AT commands...
I think is better for me to understand in steps that whole project at once

I think also in that circuit the 2.75V pin is also wrong because in gm47 manual this is pin 34...

Are there some tests that I could make to be sure that I am not wrong?
Thank you

Hi
yes

I was able to connect it to pc and send sms, make a call etc. Now I am geting used with the at commands. :)

What i meant was did you designed all the circuit(except gsm module) and connected to the pc to send AT COMMANDS.
To check whether the program is right.

i have build a rs232 interface between modem and pc serial and a level adapter from 5v to 3.3
now i can comunicate with modem by pc on serial
i will start write a program for microcontroler soon ..

i don't know and will not lose time with that...it has many mistakes on that diagram....i decided to do my own and take it step by step
1. connect to pc
2. learn at commands
3. write my soft for microcontroller
etc....

yes but i used another components too. max232 only has 5v and module has to work on 3.3
i can put here my diagram if you thing that helps

Hi, I´m at Venezuela where I can´t get the GM-47 module. Can you recommend a reliable supplier?
please. Lucian says the diagram has errors; Did anyone get this working? I wouldn´t like to blow my module if the circuit is wrong.Thanks.

I don't know if GM47 is available in your country. I have got at sim300 module.

I can´t get it locally, but I suppose it would work. I´ll check, make sure which bands work here and come back.
What I need is to turn ON and OFF my pump by cell, with security ( only a few numbers should be received )
I´m checking this

Don´t know if it could work; Thanks.

Whichever module I use will have to be imported; I´m investigating the frecuencies our carriers use, try to hack an old cell phone and understand hackaday´s circuit in the meantime. Please let me know how you´re doing and thanks.

hi, how can i view the upload schematic diagram for this gsm project?
