Have been trying to simulate this paper:
https://infrared.ucsd.edu/basov_pubs/118-Driscoll%20APL%2093%202008.pdf
Having the parameters mentioned in the paper, I couldn't get the resonance!
Need some help...
I think you can change both the reflection coefficient and the PML width at the same time in order to make the absorption condition enough to absorb the light.
Also, when you change the grid size and the time step accordingly, the reflection change as well.
I think is not the longest wavelength, but the shortest wavelength in your pulse.
I read that in this case when dispersion occurs, the step size should be very small. But I don't know how small...... Also struggling about the settings similarly.
I have another question though, could you guys...
No one answered my question...
I wonder can Bandsolve handle complex dielectric constant? Can I simulate for some plasmon effect using this software?
Thanks:cry:
Dear All,
I am pretty new to Bandsolve and Fullwave. In the lab, we have a Fullwave, and I want to simulate Silicon PC under the range of THz. I have a simple question, the Rsoft people suggest us to buy a Bandsolve. What's the advantage of Bandsolve over Fullwave?
Thank you guys very much...
