cam350 v8
V8.6 is out for evaluation and download. Unfortunately the crossprobing feature is unavailable with eval version. You need a license file from a sales rep in order to enable that feature. Whoever out there have try crossprobing, please provide some feedback. Thank you in advance...
Re: USB 2.0 and ADSL Modem
What's the point of getting USB2.0 on an ADSL when the highest download rate is only 8Mbps. USB1.1 can handle it with some spare. All ADSL chipset these days have both Ethernet and USB1.1 already. Why wasting time.
Cheers.
ADSL chipset
Hi all,
I am new to ADSL modem design. Which company offers the best performance and cost on ADSL chipset? I know there are Globespan, Broadcom, and STMicroelectronics. Any idea what their prices are? Any help is very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
I totally agree. Using CAM350 is the only safe, straight forward, less chance to make error way to merge multiple pcb files into one Gerber. I did that all the time and just put break-aways between boards. They all turned out great.
Really really appreciate your help. I think the board is still mostly deployed in Asian developing countries. Other places have already upgraded to more advanced system. If you can provide those information in Chinese, I should be able to read them. Thanks in advance.
Very disappointing. Would there be information of the ISLU2 card itself? Things regarding the control signals in and out of the card would be helpful. Many thanks in advance.
I am assigned to repair the ISLU2 line interface card for the AT&T/Lucent 5ESS. There are two chips on the board where I can't find the data sheet anywhere on the web. If there is anyone out there who have any info on these two chips, please help. These two chips are ATT1028CS Sixteen Line...
Get three regulators with ADJ (i.e. adjustable) output, e.g. LM1117-ADJ. Or use 12V as your main source, then regulate 8V from 12V and 5V from 8V. There are lots of ways and combination to do that, depends on your current requirement.
ethernet asic design
Bad choice. Too big and too complicated for a student. Knowing ASIC design methodologies and tools are great, but doesn't help you much on actually designing an ASIC. Although Ethernet switch is a well known technology, it doesn't mean it's easy to design. As a student...
For Ethernet PHY devices, try **broken link removed**. There are a lot of schematics, device drivers, etc there.
For controller with build-in Ethernet interface, try http://rabbitsemiconductor.com.
Good luck.
