hi,
i am designing a pulse generator for an UWB transmitter. for a good design i should see the power spectral density of the generated pulses. i am using mentor graphics design architect with eldo.
the question is:
does the PSD graph in mentor graphics show us the results in dB/Hz or dB/MHz...
i want to mean:
i am using vhdl-ams to simulate some parts of my circuit. i want to take the results of that simulation and use them in matlab as an input of some other circuit part which is written in matlab.
now am i clear about my problem???
vhdl how to define output gnd
hi...
im trying to generate a pulse generator which generates the 5th order derivative of a gaussian pulse. im using some mathematical equations in the code to generate it. however i cannot generate this pulse as a periodic one. my code just plot one pulse then...
Re: HELP: BGR PSR
yes, it is power supply rejection and i cannot find a good definition about it.
i am looking for someone who can define psr to me??? :D
Re: HELP: BGR PSR
thanx for your answer but i do not have any idea about how can i decrease the psr of an opamp cause i never worked on psr before??? moreover, it is hard to say that i could understand the psr concept completely.
i am waiting for your answer :)
Re: HELP: BGR PSR
thanx arsenal...
then, what can i do about psr of BGR do you have any idea??? help me please :)
its ok @ 3.3V but @1V... catastrophe!!!
heeeeeelp...
Added after 4 hours 25 minutes:
can we calculate psr with the data:
supply voltage=1V and reference (output) voltage=0.5V...
Re: help me about oscillations on my bandgap reference circu
thanx for your answers you all... i guess i handled the problem by changing the resistor values and W/L ratio of several transistors. my circuit produces oscillations according to high resistor values and low W/L ratios.
Re: help me about oscillations on my bandgap reference circu
actually i could not imagine what i must do, can you be more clear please??
because i have always problem about understanding feedback loops... :)
thanx from now...
i am designing a bandgap circuit for my graduation project. i have to take a fix voltage, as you know, between 0.4-0.6V and this voltage must be independent of supply voltage, which is 1V min and 3.3V max for my project from 0C to 80C degree.
when i achieve my goals at 3.3V, voltages on my...
