Re: 3cm^2 antenna?
@sergio mariotti:
Thank you for the hints.
I will look for some more informations about the ceramic p@tch GPS antennas.
If someone has an interessting article about this topic -> Please let me know.
Thanks a lot!!
Re: 3cm^2 antenna?
Sorry about the missing informations:
Frequency: 868MHz.
The bandwidth should be around 10-15MHz (more is always better).
The antenna should have a complete ground plane on the bottom side (-> p@tch antenna) and I would prefer a coaxial feed.
3cm^2 antenna?
hello,
i'm in charge of designing an antenna with the dimensions 3x3cm.
i know you will tell me that it is absolutely impossible to build up an effective antenna with this size. but i'm not looking for the best gain, it should just be for demonstration.
does anybody have a good...
hello,
can anyone tell me about the relationship between the characteristic function and the radiation pattern of an antenna? if i have the function, how can i calculate the radiation pattern?
thanx
thank guys!!! :D
this board is really amazing! so much know-how in one place - i'm impressed.
it seems to me that almost everybody is looking for some good books and guides.
what do you think about the proposition to create a little 'library' with the most useful books (perhaps on antennas in...
I know the subject is quite open and not really well defined.
But I'm looking for good literatur about small printed antennas (microstrip, p@tch, PIFA, ...)
What can you recommend? What are your favorites??
Thanks in advance!!
Re: HF Antenna Design Notes
thank you for the proposition.
but the rfid-antennas are mostely loop-antennas. and as i'm looking for an antenna without the need of matching, loops are not the best solutions.
Re: HF Antenna Design Notes
hello nuntha
i'm looking acutally for (very) small printed antennas for 434 & 868 mhz. any propositions are very well welcome.
I'm trying to simulate a c-p@tch antenna as described in the paper 'The C-P@tch: A Small Microstrip Element by G. Kossiavas, Electronics Letters, 1989, p253-254'. (Frequency: 413MHz)
I draw the antenna in HFSS (see file) but I suppose I do have a problem with my port. Can anybody help me out...
Re: xe 1203 problem
hi wolf
have you already tried to get in touch with Xemics? perhaps they can help you (but honestly, i'm not too sure about it).
we are using acutally the 1202 and we didn't encounter any problems so far (whereas the 1201a was buggy)
Re: Small Antenna
@HeiFelix
Have you already realized the antenna (coil and/or PCB)? Have you already measured the gain?
If so, can you give some informations (dimension, ev. images)?
Thanks
First of all - you will find several topics on the board. Use the search function!
But to give you a short guidance:
Draw 3 cylinders (inner conductor, dielectric & outer conductor) with the correct dimensions and assign the appropriate materials. With this approach, you should be able to draw...
