Re: Cellphone near a TV
the diode just rectifying the induced (RF signal by the coil trace) signal and give a DC to power up the LED.
It is not actaully blinking the LED, because the "blink" is the variation on the power of the RF signal received.
Some product will add an small cheap IC and a...
also noticed that the cell voltage will gradually dropped to 1.2V after sometime.... and it finally will gone after some hours of usage.
(the voltage curve depends on the manufacturer specification, I found they vary from brand to brand.....
Cellphone near a TV
puviarasu is correct.
Some cheap cellphone call indicator just use a high frequency diode and a LED plus a few turns of PCB trace.
It is one of the low-end product I make before.... but I forget the diode partnumber........
P*otel or orcad
I agree with glock17
Protel is with user friendly interface and higher flexibility on adjusting parameters...
Beginners should use with it!
4017..... just a decade counter. Give a clock pulse , a logic one will shift amongst the 10 data output pins.
There is a reset pin, to reset the count.
You can cascade many 4017 for more than 10 counting; also you can feedback one of the data output pin to the reset pin (using diode... I...
The container metal walls are the major problem of your RF transmission. It will just change your antenna characteristics and draw you in a madness of poor performance....
More is, if it is to located outdoors, the weather will also a critical point of the system.
