    Inductor calculation for 1millihenry

for inductor design you will also have to specify the DC current and type of application you have to use it for. hence decicing the gap lenth core selection and wire selection. any adhock design is bound to give you a saturated inductor of no use or a inductor too bukly for your application

    transformerless inverter

you can go to www.ti.com. Refer to there seminars, mainly papers authored by lyod dixon. apart from that power electronics books by pressman and onother by Ned, Mohan. The term Transformerless dose implt hat there is no bulky 50 or 60 hz transformer in the inverter circuit, however there may be...

    ac/dc converter power supply

i donot understand why you donot want any transformer in your supply. thing will be unnecessery lossy in that case. 1A is not a small current if above sugesstions are to be implemented.

    Isolator and circulator

the aim of the isolator is to protect the sourse from any mismatch, i.e. it allows the source to see a matched load always. this is very usefull in case of vacumm tube devices(magnetrons etc), which will behave irratically in the influence of reflected powere. and as far as the reduction in...

    confusion regarding analog filter specifications

hi what thye of 2nd order filter are you designing? i wish to know is it butterwirth or chebeshev type. because that will determine your rate of fall at cutoff freq and hence fp and fs. you can refer to a book on analog filter design by Hueslmann.

How to make a SMPS with input 230-500VAC & output 24V/2A

discrete smps the output power is simply 48W and hence not a big deal, flyback can be used. but the problem as i see is is Vdc max of arround 500V . i would suggest that you try double ended fly back scheme. here you will have advantage that the ovltage across the switches dose not exede Vdc...

Switchmode dc-dc converter, input capacitor questions.

the ceramic capacitor may help you only for a short transient peroid at the instant of switching, but it will not help you any further.max0412 is right.

    how to measure capacitance?

how to measure capacitance of capacitor the capacitance value you intend to measure is very very small. can you tell in more detail about the circuit and the capacitors location in the circuit so that some guesses can be made as with respect to how accuratly the capacitor can be measured.

    The transformer Simulation

the eaxct model of power transformer is very complicated, however for a very simplistic view of the transformer it is concidered as consisting of amgaantizing inducatnce, leakage inductance and the distributed capacitance. in most models the winding resistance, the interturn capacitance etc are...

    rf Vs circuit theroy

just to compliment what raduga_in wrote, lets concider we are working at 3G hz and we have a coaxial transmission line of lenght 2.5cm ie quarter wavelenght. say the line is short ciruited at one end. the multimeter will show 0 ohms at the other end, but at 3Ghz it is an ideal open circuit...

Help needed for buck PWM dc-dc converter

i need to kinow what are the specifications of the power supply you are designing. you can find good referenceson current mode supply design on notes by lloyd dixon which are freely avalable on the net. visit the link below. h**p://focus.ti.com/lit/ml/slup091/slup091.pdf
