I'm new to this area(DC/DC) and I'm going to study DC/DC Converter with low radiation. I think it should be inductorless converter (e.g. Switched Capacitor based). Am I right?
Any suggestions?
Or any reference papers?
Many thanks in advance. Happy new year, guys :D
Actually i have done it before @2.4GHz.
A simple comparator (positive feedback) can work. Remember to increase the current so that it can support high speed requirement!
I am trying to combine the power from two differential outputs of PAs. Indeed, Lattice-type LC Balun works well on the power combination.
However, the problem found is the significant harmonics which would degrade the linearity.
Anyany has experience on the Lattice-type LC Balun? And how to...
Since power combine would be used off chip, i can simply use a transformer.
However, the problem is that two differential outputs may be short if the equivalent resistance (seen from the impedance matching network) is small, which causes the output power not doubled.
Anyone has the experience...
Normally, drain efficiency 80% is a quite good result.
Using differentical topology can double the output power.
Actually PAE and output power are two important parameters for PAs.
The above is my understandy for PA
As for wireless communication, my comparator should be used under 2G Hz. Currently, it would be distorted due to G frequency.
Any suggestions on the improvement of the speed??
Many thanks
Thanks for your reply.
But the problem is that the upper transistors are NMOS instead of PMOS, the input impedence of M3 is very small, how can it be an amplifier?
