I have used Pspice for a while but I encountered two strange problems recently.
1. I am sure that I could run parametric transient simulation and Probe could give me "multiple" waveforms before. Now it still run multiple simulations(I check it from simulator) but Probe could only show one...
Current mode is also very common in SMPS design.
Maybe you can go to "ridley engineering" website for some informations.
However, if you need a complete study, I suggest you read the text book and the listed reference papers.
book on smps
This is a huge question.
I suggest you one text book:
"Fundamentals of Power Electronics....Robert W. Erickson"
I guess it's a total solution but actually it's not just fundamental.
Re: Properties of common source, source follower, common gat
All the 3 subblocks are very basic and you can find how to derive all the characteristics on all kind of books.
Since it's very basic, it will be used to build cascode or op..etc. So, before you can do complex analysis in further...
Re: what is the difference between loop gain and close loop
Loop gain is enough to determine phase margin or gain margin.
As to " how to ", it's depends on what kind of system you are designing.
Generally, you can do as following:
1. find the "loop" in the system.
2. Choose a point to cut th...
Re: Pass Transistor
Pass transistor is usually defined as transistor between Vin and Vout of a linear regulator.
For a high current power supply, generally SMPS is applied for high efficiency reason. If so, there will not be pass transistor.
However, for some applications in which low noise...
