As you might be aware before designing any amplifier it is essential to understand the device physics and its I/V characteristics. To start right away designing amplifiers with BJTs, first understand the DC and small signal analysis. Later you may get into Frequency response and feedback and...
I am preparing for GATE 2011 and I did a lot of research for good textbooks. I like those kind of books which are actually fun to read and easy to understand and also has in depth info also..

Voice signals will have discrete values. For example take a sine wave, sample it and quantize it. What you will have is of the form of no.s representing the signal amplitude. So basically numbers cant be converted into text . But you can do one thing, that is, after matching the sample with...
I have extracted the files in the Library folder of proteus, but cant seem to find them inside ISIS parts browser. Can you tell us the category or exact device name? I am using proteus 7.6
Maybe you can add the "nosplash" command for MATLAB. To do this select the shorcut for Matlab. Right click it and open properties. In the target field it should be like this "C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2007b\bin\matlab.exe" -nosplash Then click apply and restart Matlab.
I would recommend Donald Neamen Electronic Circuit Analysis and Design. Sedra and smith is very good book but it is good as reference book as it contains almost everything. I am preparing for Gate 2011 and am following Neamen for Analog circuits. I hope this will help.
Streetman and Sanjay Bannerjee is a good book but can be overwhelming and difficult to grasp for a newbie. I would suggest Microelectronics Device and Circuits by Clifton G Fonstad. This is a public domain book, which means you can download an ebook for free. Here is the link DSpace@MIT : Works...
Cant believe "robert pierret semiconductor device fundamentals" is not available on the internet. So many universities follow this one as the textbook. Yet all that internet has got is a lousy solution manual to the first edition..Desperately searched for 4 hours. If anyone can point me out the...
