is is possible do create a digital input (for a PC IO Card)
with a variable input voltage from 5VDC to 230VAC -optocoupled
without jumper, the speed is not important
(like multimeter automatic range switch )

i have testet cable lengh up to 30 m with standard rs 232 cable (shielded)and it works fine
the value of the pull ups must be low (1k2)

up to 5 mA you have no problems with 4051, (I prefer HEF because
the others seem to drift with temperature)

at the end of drawing type "RATSNEST"
then eagle calculates Polygons and Airwires new, if there are no more airewires eagle writes "nothing to do"
if not so, there are unroutet Airwires....click route and click on the board
if there are unroutet...

my Hameg 407 has this error in dig. mode :
if i turn y pos, the value jumps in steps ! (both channels)
even at measurement the value jumps
anyone can help > calibration Software or so

is it possible to direct (bridge) the clip signal to one output of the switchboard (with kondensators or so)

i have to develop a IR measure light barrier and have a problem
with reflexions.
the wavelengh is >850nm
who have experience with polarisation filters (zircular pol)
is it possible to shield the reflected light with such foils or is this method
not for reflexions on...
