    [General] How To Detect AC 230V 50Hz supply using EL817 Optocoupler?? circuit please

    will this ckt work?? R1=R2=22k 2 watt.. whether it will blow the optocoupler ?? please help... because agin i will need transformer and rectifier ckt to covert 230V to 5v, i want to avoid it.

    pov to display characters

    Hi disha.. please dont use LDR sensor.. simply waste of time.. i have tried with LDR but it is not possible to detect start position as my speed was 1440rpm, better to use hall effect sensor, it worked fine for me - - - Updated - - - look at my POV display - - - Updated - - - i used LCD...
