[SOLVED] ansoft maxwel: How to calculate eddy current loss in Cu plate?

I drawn a solenoid coil as a magnetic field source and placed a copper plate inside of the coil. the coil is excited with AC current. how to get the total eddy current loss in the plate?. Should I use field calculator for that? - please help me

[SOLVED] how to identify temperature coefficient of polypropylene capacitor??

these are the information written on the polypropylene capacitor _______________________ DEC/MER .033/J 250V E7 _______________________ .033 is 33nf J for ±5% 250 is max voltage what does "E7" stands for?, is it the identification of temperature coefficient? another capacitor with...

    question about inductors

the inductor impedance(XL) is ωL here ω=2Πf then the impedance becomes 2×Π×200k×100uH=125.66Ω at your frequency. "inductor will not block AC signal , impedance increases(ωL) with frequency ".

[SOLVED] Control is not returning from ISR(USART_RXC_vect) in atmega32 ??

Hi i am using mega32. once the RXC interrupt set the control jumps to ISR routine. but it is not coming from out of ISR, its keeps on looping there. how to come out of that. PLS CHECK CODE #include <avr/io.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <avr/interrupt.h> #include <util/delay.h>...

    Mutual inductance in concentric cylinders

interesting question.. to simplify this we assume that cylinders are made of copper. sine cylinders caring AC current. it produces Eddy current on another cylinder, this Eddy current produces opposing flux that will decrease the primary field. since the resultant primary flux...

Voltage Controlled Resistor for AC Signal ??

I am aware of FET as a VCR for DC. Since FET has reverse diode between source and drain how can we use for AC signal. This is what my direct question. through review of old threads unable to get solution for this problem. initially i was trying with LDR and found NSL32 photo resistive opto...

Voltage Controlled Resistor for AC Signal ??

Hi , I need a VCR for AC signal attenuation ( ON resistace less than 1 ohm). is there any ready made part available? if not how to made it? How to use JFET for AC Signal?
