Hi Erikl,
I don't think adding CLM would help me. In fact if I consider that, it will make the drain current even more than I calculated.
The velocity saturation is more plausible but I have used this model card before and I am very sure that hand calculation should be very close to the actual...
Hi guys,
I have got a very simple netlist that I trying to simulate in Hspice:
MN1 VCC Gat 0 0 CMOSN L=360n W=360n
VDD VCC 0 DC 1.8
Vgs Gat 0 DC 1.43
.OP 1us
.END
The model used is 0.18micron TSMC. In the model K' is defined as...
Thanks for your input.
What I dont understand is that if you draw the FSM, 0110 is a state between the other two states, which means on the next clk cycle, the next state could be either 0011, or 1100!!!
Is there any way we could differentiate them?
Hi there,
I am new to PLL and dont know where to start! I read Razavi's book to some extent but there is no mention of ADPLL whatsoever.
Do I need to understand PLL first before I start reading about ADPLL?
I need to understand ADPLL very quickly so I would really appreciate if you guys can...
Sorry I almost forgot to reply!
I can send you the procedure! send me your email!
By the way If your cadence has NCSU libraries then we may have a problem installing it, Since mine doesn't have.

I am using 2007 HSPICE
Is it possible to plot multiple graphs from different simulations by only using Avanwaves once?I mean not closing or opening a new Avanwaves program?
Cheers!
I try to explain my problem better!
I have two files each has an opamp in it! they are identical.
If I run AC Monte carlo simulation for the first file can I use the exact variations to do a monte carlo simulation for the second file?
Thanks a lot for all your suggestions!
My problem is more severe than that!
I have to do monte carlo simulations to check the intra-die variations! So every time I run the monte Carlo it generates a new set of variable which makes my life more miserable!
Thanks Keith
I have a switching circuit controlling the current sink of an Op-Amp. Of course during the time when the gates are turing on and Off Op-Amp doesn't work once everything is steady Op-Amp operates.
I tried this HSPICE but gain were not right!
Cheers
