    Pickit2 clone - need help on VDD_TGT_ADJ and VDD_TGT_N/P

That's what I was looking for. Thanks, John Blue.

    Pickit2 clone - need help on VDD_TGT_ADJ and VDD_TGT_N/P

Thanks. However, I'd like to know a bit more about their operation. Could you tell me what's the role of the VDD_TGT_N and VDD_TGT_P signals?

    Pickit2 clone - need help on VDD_TGT_ADJ and VDD_TGT_N/P

Thank you for your reply, John Blue. Would you mind explaining in more detail to me? For example, under what circumstances do VDD_TGT_ADJ outputs 5V or 0V? and under what circumstances do VDD_TGT_N or VDD_TGT_P outputs 5V or 0V? and how do they affect the target VDD (or VPP) for 5V, 3.3V, and...

    Pickit2 clone - need help on VDD_TGT_ADJ and VDD_TGT_N/P

I looked into several PicKit2 clones, but I couldn't figure out why some people people omitted the whole VDD_TGT_ADJ/VDD_TGT_N/VDD_TGT_P parts in their clones. The problem is, I cannot really understand what those pins (pin 13, 24, 25) mean and what they are doing in the circuit. So, can anyone...

    USB D- D+ Input/Output Control

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look into 18F2550 and a way to establish a USB node with it.

    USB D- D+ Input/Output Control

I see. Sad to hear that using USB won't work. I guess I'll use serial port for programming then. Thanks!

    USB D- D+ Input/Output Control

Thanks for the reply. I have seen the usbpicprog which uses USB and PIC18F2550 (another USB supporting uC) to make a programmer, but it doesn't tell the details about how to create the USB node. So how do we create USB node? and also, why controlling D- and D+ of USB individually to program...

    USB D- D+ Input/Output Control

I'm trying to program PIC16F microcontroller using the USB port from my laptop. Since we have D- and D+, my idea is that one of the signal become the programming clock, and the other signal becomes the programming data. As long as I can control each of D- and D+ signal, I can adjust the range...

What is the baking procedure for chips?

Re: FPGA to PCB thanks for reply. This FPGA must be implemented on a PCB board with a limitation on its size. 10cm width and length with other components such as analog muxes etc... so development kit wouldn't be an ideal choice. For the soldering, I've done some of them (SOIC) as an...

What is the baking procedure for chips?

Hi! I'm new to here! I took a course in VHDL, but I'm having a trouble by doing a real project. Basically I ordered the Cyclone II TQFP 144 pin, but then it says "BAKE" the chip. The moisture sensitivity strip became pink from blue when the seal is opened. So I guess I have to bake the chip...
