Hello everybody,
I want to set up a input currnt of hyperbolic tangent funtion .Its waveform like the listed below.
So can anybody tell me how to define the equation of the current source in ADS?
Thanks in advance.
Re: Squarer circuit!~
Ya~ Just a MOS . That's a good idea. Thanks!
But, has any other circuit with square function ?
I provide one as listed below. Iout=Iin²/4Iα (ref:Analog IC design:the current-mode approach , C.Toumazou ,1990)
Squarer circuit!~
Hello ,
Can anyone please tell me what's the simple circuit with square function?
It's better for high frequency and available on CMOS process.
Thanks .
I recommend you two good books for uwb.
"Ultra-wideband Radio Technology by Kazimierz Siwiak, Debra McKeown ,2004"

50 ohm resistor splitter design
Trust me! You can refer the chap 7-power divider and directional couplers of "microwave engineering" third edition by Pozar. Then you will get many senses about it.
Re: about uwb
Ultra-Wideband Radio Technology by Kazimierz Siwiak and Debra McKeown,2004
It is a very usful reference book. If u interest it , u can mail to me because I have the ebook file. :P~~
I recently research UWB pulse generation. You can use SRD and pulse shaping using RC filter. But its drawback is not be integrated. The attachment is about cmos/bicmos pulse generation circuit and based on 0.18 um process.
I recommend you the book"Antenna theory and design" by Warren L.Stutzman .
As long as you understand the basic electromagnetic theory that you will find it can be very easy for you to read and get a lot of ideas about the antennas.l
