How to find every cycle in matlab?

Thank you! Yes the code seems to work quite like a want. The target is to measure the peakvalue of every period and then compare to each other.

How to find every cycle in matlab?

I have a periodic signal with increasing frequency over time, now I want to divide the signal to every periodic cycle and analyze it separate. For example, in the begining of the signal the periodic time can be 100ms and in the end it can be 10ms, but i want a program to look at just one period...

Signal processing of a sampled signal

Someone who maybe can help me with some ideas?

Signal processing of a sampled signal

Thank you for your answers! No maybe it's not necessary at all to make it this way, it was just an idea I had... The overall goal for the project is to measure the peak-peak value of the signal in intervals, for example 40-60 sec and 100-120 sec and so on. In this intervals it's theoreticaly...

Signal processing of a sampled signal

Yes of course I can do that. This is a .txt file with sample, time and voltage.

Signal processing of a sampled signal

armin: I assume that you mean a HP-filter instead of LP to eliminate the DC level? I´ve tried with some HP-filters with a very low cutoff, about 0.1Hz. But as I said in the earlier post the goal is to have the signal positive and laying on top of a 0V baseline. Yes I'm very interesting in some...

Signal processing of a sampled signal

tzushky: No its not a carrier, its not o constant frequency. The signal is sampled from a piezoacoustic sensor for detection of human breath. mondunno: I want it like you mention first, to make every local minima lie on the 0V axis. If that is possible?

Signal processing of a sampled signal

Hello! I need some help with signal processing using matlab, i've got some sampled signals (the image is a clip from one of these). I want to get the signals without the dc-offset drifting and I want my signal to lay steady on 0 V and measure the peak-value off the signal. How should I do this...

How to deal with DC offset and replace it by AC-signal

DC Offset Thank you for you answers. When you say I can use only a capacitor, in what size should this be if I want my signal (~0.2-5Hz) not to be distorted in any way? Is this possible? My idea was some kind of active filtering but I dont know what type of filter or values to get the cutoff...

How to deal with DC offset and replace it by AC-signal

Re: DC Offset Hmm, didn't see your link! I'm totaly new here so maybe I don't know where to look or maybe I'm just blind? But don't you use the "Offset-Null" to eliminate the internal offset-failure in the OP with a pot or something. Maybe this way would work if the DC-level is stable, but in...

How to deal with DC offset and replace it by AC-signal

Hello! I need a little help with some analog design, my signal is a low frequency-signal about 0.2 - 5 Hz (~500mV pk-pk) with an DC offset for a couple of volts (2-4 V). This DC-level is not constant, it drops slowly over time. Now I want to get rid of this DC-level and want my AC-signal lay...
