Tx Waveform problem
HELLO ~ 8-)
I've designed and measured CML type tx buffer. But the waveform has some problem.
If there are some capacitive loading, I think slow rising time is ok, but this waveform has the inflection point at the crossing point. Thus it makes EYE more worst.
Where is it...
Hi. all
I'm now designing dll.
And I want to simulate with ssc(spread spstrum clock) stimulus input.
How can I generate spreaded clock input for spectre or hspice.
for example..
center freq' : x
modulation rate : y%
modulation freq' : z
thank you.
ring oscillator sensitive supply
Hi all~
I'll design some ring oscillator frequency about 30MHz.
But I'm afraid, if the frequency will be correct in process.
So, I want to know, how big is the frequency variation of ring oscillator in real process.
Thank you. :D
I want to see output impedance of an amplifier.
I know the method.. result->print->1/gds
But I heard that there is xf analysis in spectre like .tf in hspice.
And I tried xf analysis, but I didn't get correct data.
Please help me.
Just I want to know the output impedance.
1. How to make the...
no dc outputs specified
I solved the problem by attatched below stagement.
.option post=1
I think 2006 version makes graphic file default without above option, but 2007 version needs the statement.
Thanks.
Hi. all~
I used hspice 2006.09 correctly.
Few days ago, I found 2007.03, and I installed the version.
Then It was worked correctly. Thus I uninstalled 2006 version.
After that, the newer version became a donkey.
It shows me conclude message, But I can see any wave at Avanwaves.
The list file...
Thank you very much!! iamxo :D
It's my wanted answer. I simulated and checked it is similar.
But I have more question.
1. In feedback loop, -3db point, y/x=A/1+A=0.707=1/sqrt2 ==> A(open loop gain)=2.41=7.64dB
Why OL 0dB point is CL -3dB point?
2. When we design an opamp, we compensate PM...
unity gain care
Is it right that the usuable operation frequency of amplifiers are ~3db frequency?
But when we design an amplifier, why care unity gain frequency?
Is there any reason or just see because 3db freq =unity gain freq/gain?
And also why we care PM at unity gain frequency? The...
replica bias in vco
I want to know why we use op amplifier. We can bias directly from some biasing circuit to vco. But why we use op amp between baiasing ckt and vco.
um. I think input impedance of op amp is infinity. Thus if we use op amp between biasing ckt and vco, the vco will not affect...
