Thanks a lot Klaus, it seems that you throw a light in proper direction. I don't know that in one wire protocol communication is accomplished over power line.
Thanks again,

Hi everyone,
This time I am seeking your support for an apprently new thing. I am using a drinking water purifier of a top brand in India. They use a chip on the filter cartridge set. This chip has no connectivity with flow of water (any type of rotating part) so that it can count the liters of...
The ADC simulation time in the MPSIM is correct.
The A/D conversion cycle requires 11 TAD. For correct conversion, the A/D conversion clock must be selected to ensure a minimum TAD of 1.6 µS. The A/D RC source has a typical TAD time of 4 µS for VDD > 3.0V. This time range is 2 - 6 µS.
When I...
Please read this documents: 1) Microcontroller Interfacing Circuits and 2) Microcontroller Interfacing. Otherwise you can make a Google search. There is no such dedicated ICs to suit this purpose as far as I know.
Thanks.
I downloaded MPLABX-v3.35-windows-installer.exe two times but failed to set it up as it 'encountered a problem'. It's a big download. So I can't check my code in the newest IDE.
But it seems that simulation time taken by the MPLAB IDE 8.92 is OK. I am looking farther, I shall comment on this...
I am using MPLAB IDE 8.92, while simulating ADC in the MPSIM, I found that it takes 46µS. I used RC oscillator as adc clock. The hex code thus generated works flawlessly in the hardware, but I don't know what time it takes in reality. According to datasheet it must take 2-6µS. The chip I am...
Hi everybody
Recently I found some ICs written HA3089-I/SP on it, and Microchip logo embossed on it. But I failed to found out what is this? even on the Microchip Website. Please help me if anybody has any knowledge or, resource (datasheet, app. note or, anything else ) about it.
Thanks.

Was it working earlier?
The pcb is good and working; please read earlier posts of this thread. shamikrudra made his hardware on this pcb and is running.
Thanks

@suds07. There is a file "89XXXX PROGRAMMER.MAX" in attachment in my previous post in this thread. You can try to edit this in Orcad. This hardware is for DS version of firmware, if you want to use SS version of firmware, you need to change the hardware accordingly. But the difference in...
