[General] Programmer fails to connect to the target MCU

Thank you cl10greg for your response. Actually, the datasheet says that the internal oscillator of the MCU starts on every system reset, with no need for external components. So I suppose it should work even if the external resonators are not working properly. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)...

[General] Programmer fails to connect to the target MCU

Hi everyone, I'm trying to program/debug/erase a Freescale MC12311 transceiver IC (which has an HCS08 MCU embedded in it) via the 6-pin BDM header, using a P&E USB Multilink Universal, and CodeWarrior 10.4 IDE, on Win7 64-bit platform. The following "power cycle" error occurs when I try to...

Power cycle error when trying to program/debug HCS08 MCU

Thanks bepobalote for your response. Actually, I turn off/on the MCU, but it doesn't help; it fails to connect to the target board. Besides, MCU is powered by an external power supply, and not the BDM. Any other suggestions?

Power cycle error when trying to program/debug HCS08 MCU

Hi everyone, I'm trying to program a Freescale MC12311 transceiver IC, which has a 9S08QE32 MCU embedded in it: MC12311: Sub-1 GHz RF and 8-bit HCS08 MCU I'm using a Background Debug Module (BDM) from P&E Micro (USB Multilink Universal); and also the Codewarrior 10.4 software as IDE. However...

How to combine correlated signals !?

Hi everybody Assume there is an original signal S_main. And there are 10 other similar signals S1 ~ S10. Signals S1 ~ S10 are correlated to S_main with correlation coefficients coeff1 ~ coeff10. Now here's the question: How can I combine S1 ~ S10 in order to regenerate S_main !? (The...

How to plot 3D Contours with MATLAB !?

Well actually, I recently found out that isosurface function does exactly what I need. But there is still another problem with this function : isosurface command needs the V to be a 3D matrix of size (x,y,z) How can I convert vector V to a 3D matrix !? ( Vector V is not uniform or monotonic at...

How to plot 3D Contours with MATLAB !?

Hi everybody I have a dataset of points (XYZ as the coordinates) and V as the value at each point. (Each of the above 4 data (X,Y,Z,V) are vectors e.g. 1x1000 vectors.) I've plotted the 3D surface using patch command. (by the use of faces & vertices) Now here goes the problem : How can I plot...

How to 9VAC secondary in a transformer (now I have 17VAC)

Re: Transformer Problem Hi again I didn't fully get what you mean. Do you mean that we cannot apply high current to this resistors !? Well , I think we can use high-power resistors , can't we !? :?:

Calculating Vc and Ic for darlington

Hi friend I think the calculation of the Ic is wrong. Ib × β is the collector's current , and not the resistor's. Did you get it !? Therefore , you must first calculate the resistor's current ( which is more than collector's current ) , and then calculate it's voltage. Good Luck Hope I've...

How to 9VAC secondary in a transformer (now I have 17VAC)

Re: Transformer Problem Hi friend To ruduce the outlet voltage , you can use 2 resistors. Apply the outer voltage to the " 9+8=17 " resistor , and therefore you'll be able to get an output of 9 volts from the " 9 " resistor. Good Luck Hope I've helped !
