Re: mixed signal simulation
Try EverCAD's ADiT for your mixed signal.
They have
ADiT (Turbo) for big-A.
It can co-sim with NC-Verilog, VCS or modelsim.
Or you can use EverCAD's ADiT-HDL and ADiT-Turbo.
the website is www.evercad.com
Check it out.
I like it.. easy configuration/set up..
Hello,
I read that I can back-annotated the geometric device data to the pre-layout hierarchical netlist with a DPF (device parameter format) netlist.
I can not find any syntax or site how I can create this DPF file.
Do you have few samples of DPF files? Do you know any site where I can find...
Try ADiT for mix analog and digital design verification.
ADiT-VPI will hook ADiT to your favorite digital simulator (VCS, NC-Sim, Modelsim) and you can do co-simulation. If you don't have a digital simulator, then you can use ADiT-HDL and ADiT to do mixed-signal verification. It is easy to set...
nwave analog waveform
I know NASSDA's HSIM can output Veritools' fast file format also.
But somehow Nassda's support team does not really know how to set it up.. Hopefully they are aware of their own features..
I usually use Undertow from Veritools.. Cheap and can read pretty much all the...

Here is the list of ADiT tools
ADiT-SPICE: Spice like simulator for accuracy
ADiT-Turbo: fast-timing simulator for speed
ADiT-MOT: macro simulator for huge capacity (ie. mainly for RAMs)
ADiT-VPI: links ADiT to VCS,Verilog-XL, NC-Sim and Modelsim for cosim
ADiT-FLI: links ADiT to...
I thought HSIM plus was just repackaged HSIM with "options"
I heard one of the options were SPICE netlist parser.. How are you going to run simulation if you don't purchase that option! hehe..
Probably my misunderstanding.. but I thought it was funny.
I heard HSPICE improved its speed by 25%...
I guess you are talking about ADiT-Turbo.
I tried ADiT-Spice, which is definitely a lot faster than HSPICE.
I heard that new HSPICE release will have 25% speed up..
Is it true?
You are the first one to say that HSIM/POWERMILL/ADITSPICE is slower than HSPICE!! haha. LESS ACCURATE (MAYBE), BUT...
I was at DAC.
1. ADiT
I saw window version of ADiT. If I use my 3Ghz machine with window version of ADiT, then it would be awsome!
I saw their new viewer too. a lot better than before.. Again on the windows version!
ADiT-Turbo can be used with Tanner. Since Tanner does not have a fast-timing...
Re: C@dence Ultr@sim
I heard from my Japannese contact that UltraSim is dead there.
Gave up at benchmark too.
Try ADiT, if you are currently using HSIM, Nanosim, or UltraSim.
You will see how accurate and faster it is.

What tools are you using?
If you are using Cadence, then you probably find tutorials in there.
I used their tutorials and followed step by step and it was pretty useful.
=)
Hi
Tanner Tools are for Analog IC Design.
But I think they only support Windows.
(The Mars rover/NASA used Tanner tools. 8O )
But I use ADiT. (www.evercad.com) with Cadence's Analog Artist.
Because I like how ADiT can go from Spice mode to Fast circuit mode to mixed signal mode.
Try it ADiT...

I can only find the datasheet for ADiT.
The datasheet does not really mention ADiT-VPI but it is the new stuff that I am using.
