What if I'm using a patch antenna fed from bottom, and the antenna array is conforming to a cylindrical shape? i tried to replace with discrete port but when a number rotation is being done, there seems to be slight error with the discrete port alignment.

i used subgridding, and receive a warning the staircase mode is represented with PEC. it affect my conformal design results.

thanks for the reply. yes, i have problem with it as the radiation pattern was bad. i design it based on cst video, using bending structure, and when i zoom in my model, it's like not a smooth cylinder. do you think it's caused by that?

i modeled a conformal antenna (on a cylinder side) but cst simulator gives warning saing that the staircase mesh cells has been filled with PEC. as a result, it give bad radiation pattern (far from expectation). can anyone suggest how to tackle this prob.
