Multi Carrier modulations like OFDM needs good linearity.
Sometimes all the carriers came in phase and sometimes out of phase.
So this kind of modulation has large PEAK to AVAREGE.
this is the reason the amplifier should be vary linear.
Linearizations are very popular for this kind of...
Re: PA class
I know my VGS and VDS.
I am using ST PD0015 device.
VGS = 4.7V
VDS = 12V
what more i need to check ?
how can i simulate the conduction angle ?
noise
I design my power amplifier.
I just want to know what is the class of my amplifier.
I think its AB but not sure.
what is the parameters I need to simulate for verify the class ? What i need to check ?
I am using ADS.
thanks
Noise.
I want to build my own transmission line transformers.
It will be use with push pull amplifier configuration (balun).
my quastion is how to select the AWG for the twisted pair wires ?
The max output power is 25W and the impedance ratio is 1:9.
Thanks,
Noise
ads qpsk
There are many examples in the ADS about QPSK.
Just search for QPSK and you will learn alot.
If it is not clear enough send my your Email.

qpsk modulator in ads
Hello,
It is possible to simulate QPSK modulator with the ENVELOPE or with the PTOLEMY.
Do you have license for that ?
Tell me what do you prefer and i will send you sample in EMAIL.
Hello all,
I am trying to simulate the effect of RF Limiter on QPSK and 8PSK.
I compare the results against theoretical curve for BER to Es\No.
the problem is, i got the same degradation from theoritical curve at Qpsk and 8PSK , something about 1dB.
The 1 dB degradation is between the...
