i have a capacitor bank of 40 joules of energy on 800VDC. i want to discharge it across a resistor so that it burn.
ofcourse its a nin-repetitive current across a resistor.

in serial senario, the transfer of LO take time to shift to next step. i just want to shift the DDS LO as fast as can.
thats why i want to use the parallel port of the AD9850
this module also have parallel port. i have searched for the example code for parallel interface but havnt found anything.
Do post the code which can be used to interface the module parallel

the IF frequency is 0.1-800MHz. but it misses that how much BW of this frequency the upconverter can bear.
for example, My IF is 200-800MHz and any LO, it will upconvert it????????? it 600MHz BW

can anyone tell me about the DDS interfaced with microcontroller?
i just need a system which can change its frequency based on control word generated by the Microntroller on DDS. Hop count per sec is not finalized yet. the frequency band will be VHF/UHF and 2.4ISM.

my problem is not KAmp..... my prob is 800V with not repetitive surge as well as size. the size should be like a transistor
can you suggest any thyristor? i am new in thyristor field. have tried to find suitable but i got only tension
no..... its jst a switch. you can say mechanical button can fulfil my need but the problem is Microcontroller. i want to turn on this capacitor bank base on some if-else condition. for that purpose i need some circuit which can trigger on the bases of micrcontroller control pin high or low.
