hi, i have a problem on calibratin of VNA.
i got an idea on measuring the s-parameters of dipole connecting each arm to each of two single-ended prots of VNA, then converting them to mixed-mode s-parameters. in such situation, the balun is not necessary. but i am confused how to calibrate the...
thank you very much for your reply.
but i didn't understand what do you mean on 'it included balun,i remembered they connect one arm to outer conductor,i think it should be 1/4 lamda'.
could you explain more details?
hi,
does anyone have the experience on balun used for printed dipole measurement? i am working on the planar printed dipole. i have made the TRL calibration kit for measurement with VNA. but the measured results were very bad. why? does it mean the balun should be included? how to design a easy...
trl calibration code matlab
i also working on the TRL calibratin in ROHDE&SCHWARZ ZVx network analyzer. i have to design my own TRL calibration kit. where can i find the matlab code for TRL calibration? or could anybody help me on the matlab codes? i have to finish this work within this week...
Re: urgent!!! how to connect dipole with vector network anal
my dipole is designed to connected with chip. but i will measure the s-parameter and impedance without chip. now, i have the problem how to connect it with VNA. does anyone have the experience on connect the printed dipole to VNA...
Re: urgent!!! how to connect dipole with vector network anal
i am still confused on balun. i am designing a dipole matched to a chip. there is no integrated balun in many design. why is it need when measurement? can i use the extra balun product only for measurement?
thank you very much.
Re: urgent!!! how to connect dipole with vector network anal
thank you very much.
i have got some ideas from publications, but i have no experience for measurement. should i design a special balum for my dipole or there are some standard product for balun?
how to connect dipole antenna
hi, everyone,
could anyone help me on antenna measurement?
1, how to connect a dipole with VNA?
2, the antenna is designed for a chip in RFID system. should i measure it with chip or without chip? what is the difference?
thank you very much.
Re: Theoretical and exsperimental reader range in RFID UHF t
thank you very much.
i have no experience on measurement at all. my tutor and i plan to measure the gain, input impedance and read range of the antenna. but i have no idea on it. i have got the chip and i will connect it with...
read range rfid friis gain range 868 mhz
hi, i also do the similar project. i am working on simulation work now. maybe you can share the simulation experience with me. which kind of antenna do you work for? i tried meander line dipole for 868mhz, but i can't got good results until now. later, i...
meander dipole
hi, everyone,
who has the experience of meander line dipole antenna?
i am looking for the publication of "resonant frequency and radiation efficiency of meander line antenna", "impedance characteristics of small meander line antenna", and "input impedance increase of a very...
thank you very much.
i am using sonnet for modified dipole design. i found i can't satisfied the s-parameter and impdance match coinstantaneously. i am confused.
why? does anybody meet the same problem?
how are you, everyone?
i am trying to design a UHF antenna for RFID at 900MHz. bandwidth and impedance matching should be considered at the same time. i tried several geometries with different shapes and sizes, but i didn't found better one.
could anybody give me some advices on it? it is...
