Hi frnds
Pls help me,
I jus learn the concept Reactive power..
But I didn't get any physical intituion.
I want to learn beyond the theoretical concepts ..
Reactive power came when the voltage wave and current wave not in phase....!!!! ( >>>Power Factor)
I didn't get the current wave and...
Thnks C_MITRA
Very nice explaination,
now i clear the concept,
at first i think
if we apply a voltage across inductor , suddenly oppose it , and no current flow thru it.
can u explain
why the time delay di/dt this results to phase delay >> power factor..
on the basis of electromagnetic...
Thanks BratheRad
what u mean flux field ??
i know about flux, field,
Electric field is defined as the electric force per unit charge. The direction of the field is taken to be the direction of the force it would exert on a positive test charge. The electric field is radially outward from a...
THANKS bradthe rad,
now my doubt is as current builds
how counter emf drops ??

Thnkz CataM
OnLy changes in magnetic field induce an emf across inductor.
which will equal and opposite to applied voltage
thus current produced by induced emf oppose the current by applied...
Thankz CataM,
IN dc ,
what happen after a short period of time ??
eg
when i applied 10v battery to inductor, inductor resistance is 1 ohm
then current is i = 10/1 = 10A,
their is current rise from 0 (at t=0) to 10A (at t= 0++)
in this transient period ( t= 0 to 0++)
intresting thing...
hi
my elementary doubt is how inductor oppose changes in current
eg
if i connect 10v battery to an inductor.
assume inductor has no energy stored
voltage across inductor is 0v,
at t= 0 --
current thru the inductor is 0
resistance is 1ohm.
if i connect 10v battery to inductor at t=0
i...
hii frnds,
my elementary doubt is that
if i applied 10v in an inductor, by faradys law back emf is produced .
is it equal and opposite??
if it is equal and opposite back emf is -10v
then no magnetic flux, cancel each other, no current flow thru it
pls help me..
am confused..
Thnks Red alert,
today i drive real load,3 phase induction motor and vary the freq from 30hz to 50hz , and get speed 900 rpm to 1400 rpm
now i marked this thread as solved,
once again, i thanks to all the EDA members helped me, and this thread wil be helpful to others ,new bie etc
regards...
IN DATA SHEETT of fg25n120 IC = 25A
Did u mean dc link voltage ??
how much voltage is provided for safety operation??
less than 50v. or less than 100v , 100v-300v
can i use incandscent lamp 40w,250v,50Hz ??
first
how much voltage is applied to the input ( 3 phase rectifer) ??
i wish to connect single phase 230V,50HZ...to the input.
should i reduce the voltage by using fan regulator ??
bcz autotransformer is available nly on college lab,
itz open...
Thnks sir,
Am very happy now,,
now i wana to connect the output of driver to gate of igbt.
i checked the HO frm driver by short with Vs and Com,
pls give some tips for checking , igbt with driver, its my first time
sorry sir,
today i checked with another DSO AND got it.
yeasterday i didnt get it, i think itz measurement error.
first 3 spwm signals from arduino uno output (pin 9,10,11)
output of optocoupler
output of driver
