Do the following:
1. plot your forward reflection (S11) and reverse reflection (S22) on a smith chart on ADS
2. set a marker on your deseired frequencies
3. read out the impedance values
@mkhogely: BigBoss is right...ADS is a very good tool. You could also try AWR (but would it (new tool) really solve your problem!).
What is the actual problem, could you be more specific pls?
I do not have any documents on me at the moment, but pls google your need and I am sure you will find something. But.........
Assuming you are good with your simulation tool now here are the tips:
1. Dimension your patch, Length and width
2. feeding point
3. Width of your short circuit plate...
Hello Nramesh,
Like I have said earlier, if you fear that it's a mismatch then modified your reference board, build an attenuator (3-6dB, it's a 3 registers circuit) between filter output to ANT input (assuming you do not know the ANT impedance). This will minize your mismatch.

Calm down, one step at a time..dont panic.
1. If I've understood it correctly that your system works properly with one mobile operator system ...question is: are you checking any parameters on tester to see your system actually working?
2. Lets assume you have checked your system and it works...
Are you asking someone to do it for you?
Try IE3D, you can get a free trial version or student version for few months and if you are effective 3 months should be enough for your work, or not?
@abhijitrc: there is a cascaded noise factor (F) rule, please look it up. Doesn't matter how many stage you have you can calculate the total , F for the whole chain, but you need to know (must) NF for each individual blocks.
@falguni_raval: you dont have to call us Sir, nobody is your Sir...you are on your own Boss:-).
There are few articles on-line on how to measure S21, but note: it's not a straight forward. If you need more information then please look up on google.
S11: good S11 indicates your incident power...
Well, crystal is used as a master clock of your system..if you are familiar with basic PLL system then you know that reference clock/master clock is fed into the system:
system clock>Phase detector>Low pass filter>VCO------>output
[Note: it has a feedback loop meaning sample of output will be...
FSK, GFSK, MFSK (=frequcny shift keying, information is in freqeuncy.. 1bit=1symbol) where as QPSK (=quardature phase shift keying, information is in phase, 2bits=1symbol). Now if you want more througput you need higher modulation scheme i.e. 16QAM, 64QAM. No matter what modulation scheme you...
Sometimes ago I have posted this and I didn't get any precise answer, instead got some questioned back!
"I am using high frequency probe to measure spectrum level on the spectrum analyzer. For accurate signal level measurement on the spectrum analyzer I would like to know the loss/contribution...
