Hi Everyone
I was reading papers about buck converters control systems and come across the term, small signal analysis, can anyone tell me what that actually means ?

if there was light coming out before and not anymore, then i think you damaged it, otherwise, might not be anything wrong with it as sometimes infra red led shows nothing. You do need to connect a resistor in series to limit the current before it blows it up.

Hi,
Are you having problems driving the output of the pwm or building the pwm. If you want to drive it. I think you can just pick a driver ic that suits your requirement.

not sure if i am any help but just go to pspice and drag all those standard components (not a particular ones ) calculate the components needed such as capicitors etc .... then there you go ... you may also find some designated regulation chip in the library where you just connect them all...

I have designed a pwm for a boost converter before using, 8038 for the sawtooth and a comparator ( cannot remember ) but if you want, tell me, i'll look it up for you.

I am a very forgetful person, though it was only a short time since i finished my project, if you mean boost converter ( step up converter ), theoretically, you can achieve an infinite output from the boost converter. Practically, it doesn't happen since there are...
