I am using matlab 2011a at school and the matlab code is working fine. However I am working the same code on my old version matlab 7 on my laptop, this code "modem.qammod" give an error. What command I should use instead of modem.qammod in matlab 7
Thank you.
I am working on simulation of bpsk in Rayleigh channel. From the code below, I do not understand why you only scale the noise ( n = 1/sqrt(2)*[randn(1,N) + j*randn(1,N)] ) with 10^(-Eb_N0_dB(ii)/20) for the required Eb/No. But why don't you scale transmitted signal as well.
As I understand...
1)Pilots we are inserting in between data subcarriers and they are not modulated.
Whether we need to extract the pilots from data after FFT operation or is there any process ?
2)After extraction what we are doing for estimating the channel?
Thank you so much.
Thanks "kpojha" for his very good answer on this thread as I quoted above. Can anyone please explain more in details on 4,5 for me. I don't really get it. Thank you.
Thank you both very much. It's very helpful.
ps: to SunnySkyguy
From the website you suggested, there is only OFDM information which is not included channel estimation information? or I just can't find it?
