    Power measurment ICs

Many thanks for reply. I agree current sense devices are really nice. I used to use Maxim MAX4372T as well for that purpose https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/datasheet/index.mvp/id/2104 . However I was thinking about more integrated approach, the device, which would sense the current and...

    Power measurment ICs

Hello Everyone! I know this topic is kind of discussed bln times, but I couldn't find direct recommendations in other threads. Basically we are going to build a PCB for a custom ASIC on it and I'd like to measure it's (ASIC) power consumption during the operation. I know the easiest way would...

    FPGA Development board selection

Thank you for reply! Indeed very nice boards, haven't heard of them before. Even XEM3005 looks quite suitable. So basically you provide whatever voltage you need to required pins and the output of FPGA would be shifted? (without that ferrite bead of course). I'll look closer to its...

    FPGA Development board selection

Hi All, Can anyone recommend a nice budget development board (Altera, Xilinx, etc.) with 100+ GPIO on 1.8V. The board itself doesn't need to be really sophisticated, the main aspect is IO voltage level. It looks like the majority of vendors provide only 2.5 and 3.3 =(. Thanks in advance.

Datapath components extraction from instruction set

Hello Everyone! During my research regarding CPU design I faced a question: Is it actually possible to extract data path components such as (adder, PC, registers, ...) from a given instruction set? As I understood by using ADL such as EXPRESSION, LISA …, where you can define all instructions...
