Hi
I have downloaded I/Q samples of AM modulated signals (Radio broadcast) that contains 2 stations. one centered at 0 Khz and other at 8 Khz.
I am able to play 0 Khz stations by demodulation. now i want to shift (down-conversion) the 8 Khz signal to 0 Khz. I understand the process and studied...
Hi All,
I want to implement SDR in my Laptop, I am using UTV-382 usb tv tuner. There are code samples (using Dshowlib and other libraries) for getting decoded video and audio signals but i require RF samples from tuner that would be IF samples.
Does anybody know any windows library or API for...
Hi All,
I am new bee in RF electronics.
I have used MK484 for AM reception using loop stick antenna. I am interested in AM reception through Whip Antenna (followed by JFET buffer/Amplifier).
Interestingly Whip Antenna can be used for VLF LF and MW reception as mentioned in many websites around...
Thanks Dave,
it means that circuit mentioned at the web site
_-= Uzzors2k =-_ Project Site is not correct, there Pin15 of TA2003 is unconnected and i wonder how it is working as FM receiver.
Thanks all guys specially Dave for guiding me, i was busy experimenting with the TA2003 for 38.9Mhz Tv reception and later for FM band radio but no luck, actually the web site i mentioned earlier in post has the circuit where Pin15 of the TA2003 is unconnected whereas in rest of the web sites...
Thank guys but i am still confused why one needs to connect tank circuit to Pin(15) which is FM RF output even on data sheet it is shown, also L(inductor) for both inputs can't be perfectly same. Why can't we distribute a single tank circuit out to pin13 and pin 15 and why separate tank circuits...
Hi All,
I have soldered the circuit for Tv Tuner demodulator (FM) as explained in web site
_-= Uzzors2k =-_ Project Site
The diagram i have attached as "Tv Tuner Radio" but mine is not working, i doubt author has forgotten the input at pin 15 of TA2003 IC (may be author is correct as it is FM...
Thanks Vfone, what about discriminator pin configuration
if starting from red dot in left side(front view) Pin1 in input and pin2 output or it doesn't matter which pin we connect as it has only two pins
Hi All
Can any one tell me the pin configuration of FM ceramic filter and discriminator.
The Ceramic filter is E10.7A(with red dot at left side from front view)
Discriminator is J10.7A(with red dot at left side from front view)
i want to know input output pins, i have pin configuration of...
Hi All,
Thanks for all your replies they are really helpful. I ma currently facing problem in implementing FM radio with TA2003 radio ic.
I have connected all the components for TA2003 FM mode but it seems that i am unable to tune any station(FM band coil and gang capacitor). I have connected...
Hi All,
I have connected all the components for TA2003 FM mode but it seems that i am unable to tune any station(FM band coil and gang capacitor). I have connected all components over breadboard (TA2003 and all required Rs & Cs) except tank circuit which is soldered in separate wire-board, i...
Hi all
i am newly involved in RF electronics, have some confusion regarding inductors/coils. i want help in clearing the following concepts:
1. If in tank circuit inductor (hand made or purchased from market) is connected to the oscillator input of chip then is it called oscillator coil or is...
Thanks Dave
From your statement
"The tank cct is on the outside of the chip so that the user has some control over the freq of operation"
I have understood that Pin 13 needs to be connected to Tank circuit only and nothing else to have some control over the frequency of operation of the...
Thanks Dave for the reply.
The internal schematic of the TA2003 shows pin 13 as oscillator input(base of transistor) same as pin 6 of the NE602/612. The NE602/612 can be connected from external source(like 74hc4060 frequency divider) or by connecting crystal to drive the oscillator. I thought...
