Hi,
As a part of my project I need to send a field data (Ex: pressure) to control room which is almost 1KM away. I feel I can go for wireless solution. And I do googling find out CC1110 a RF transceiver with 8051.
But I have few questions whether using this chip can I transmit data to >1KM...
12v dc booster
Hi Friends,
Yes, very well we can achieve 12:400v conververtion with multilevel boosting. But still i have a doubt that such a tansformerless design is advisible?? though we can get high gain and less loss(no transformer :D) but we don't have any isolation.
Re: Need help to find a suitable ADC for linear displancemen
Hi mahesh,
Yes LTC2400 seems to good.I have one question how do I calculate sampling rate of my application as sensor output is DC. I am thinking to read the sensor for every sec and do the display.
Regards
Manoj
Hello Friend,
In one of my project I want to calculate a linear motion of an shaft which can move upto 25mm. I select a potentiometric based sensor and that sensor output can vary upto 0-10v.Also I have to show the displacement accuracy is should be < 0.1% . Hence i need a precision ADC.Please...
Hi Friends,
I want to measure a linear displacement between two blades through that I can set the gap b/w them. Sensor range is 0-25mm and accuracy should be less than .01.I was searching for the sensor throughout the day. But I am not sure which one I can select for this. Please help me to...
push pull boost converter
Hi Friends,
Thanks for your reply.Idea behind transformerless is to make a compact inverter
FvM: I...,. switched power, which would be 70A*400V = 28kW. Also you need a switch transistor with 400 V capacity instead of 24 V for a transformer push-pull...
12v to 400v
Hi Friends,
I am designing a transformerless inverter(800VA) for home application.I want to convert 12v DC /70A to 400VDC using a boost converter. I have some doubt to choose an inductor. To calculate a inductor value (L ≥ Vout x (1-D)/(ΔI x Fs) ) what will be my peak to peak...
Dear sivasujith
In three phase electric lines lot fault you have to concider ex)Voltage unbalance, phase sequence change, missing Neutral,No load...you want to diagnosis these faults, you can use energy metering Ics, in market lot ics from cirrus logis,Analog Devices ..are available try to...
Hi guys
I am looking for very low cost weight sensor(upto 5kg) for my projects.I searched in market found some kind of loadcell .But is there any readymade sensor with signal conditioners are available..Waiting for your valuable feedback
Thanks & Regards

cs5460a energe meter
Hi
CS5460 is having it is own SPI bus interface you can get data through SPI bus....Also CS5460 directly
drive Stepper Motor..and counter.that woud be make you some cheaper design.
Thanks&Regards

SPI bus question
hi
for SPI lot of referenceses available but no idea about your controller.any have go through PIC you may get general idea.(h**p://www.microchipc.com/sourcecode/#interface)
Your peripherial ENC28j20 accept only raising edge datas. So make sure that!
Re: SPI bus question
hi techie
First you shoud ensure weather you are going to implement hardware SPI stack or Sortware.I think you expect Software only!!!.Also you shoud know CLOCK polority,Clock phase..
To write a byte
fun(byte data)
{
CS = 0; //Chip...
Hi Vamanan.
"Use of SQURE WAVE OFF RTC".
All RTC can generate square wave signal in different frequency. With this Square wave we can lit LCD back light(like PWM).In my energy meter application i have to read ADC'sdata every one minitue it...
