You must check the noise figure after putting uStrip and real components with real model provided from manufacurer for them.
for instance if you use ATC caps you should use actual models for actual real values available from company.other wise the results you are going to get is very different...

this measurement needs basic knowledge of noise measurement.
with LNA NF=7 dB you can make a good measurement, as long as you are using
a good PSA with low noise floor.
the LNA noise figure doesn't have to be very low , all matters is to be able to identify the noise change in PSA due to DUT...
difference between ssb and dsb
DSB mixing is the regular Am modulation , when the carrier is suppresed.that is,
there is no carrer at output spectrum only the two side bands will appear.
the term SSB means you only produce one side band instead of two.that is you only have upper or lower side...

HFSS is good for 3D field simulation, and is from Ansoft.
Ansoft has another product suitable for circuit and 2D simulation.
if you are trying to design a 3dB divider ( as I understand) for Clysteron tube, you better use HFSS.

Disadvantage of zero dc offset IF is that it is sensitive to noise and small interference in the circuit and cause the system to saturate quickly.
So any small interference from LO/supply/etc cause the receiver goes to saturation .
