Hi,
I dont know how to generate in Matlab a discrete time stochastic process of 2000 i.i.d (indepented and identically distributed) uniform distributed samples in the interval [-.5,.5].
Could anyone help me?

I have a theoritical question.
Which are the differences between orthogonial represetation and other ways of represatation like fourier series and sinc().
:!:
maybe i have not ubderstand the question.
Its a problem which says:
a source produce 8 symbols with the same probability , 5*10^4 symbols per second.
If the outputs efficiency is 0.75( from this i understand that i need 4 bits pes symbol) and bandwidth=50KHz, how would be a telecommunication...

i want to implement a simple RDS system in matlab.
I have a baseband digital signal[0,fm] which is voice and want also to send a message which i convert to ASCII and then send their superposition to the reciever.
My problem is in the receiver what filters should i use, and how can I remove...
