[SOLVED] AC Rectified input voltage drops connecting to LM317T

I switched to 1N6338 that I have available and it worked. The 1n6338 spec Vf 1.1V@200mA, trr=20ns. I am still trying to understand why it worked...so if you guys have insight please share.

[SOLVED] AC Rectified input voltage drops connecting to LM317T

I am using 1N649 for the rectifying. It is rated 1V @400mA.

[SOLVED] AC Rectified input voltage drops connecting to LM317T

Did all of that. Verified the LM using a PSU and it works as intended...but when connecting with the rectified circuit that's when nothing is working. The AC input drops and the regulator output is in miliVolts.

[SOLVED] AC Rectified input voltage drops connecting to LM317T

I am trying to convert my magnetic inductance voltage from L1 and C4. The AC input is about 25Vpp at 6.78Mhz. After going thought the full bridge rectifier, the voltage is about 15V with around 200mVripple. I am feeding this 15V into the LM317T, as seen on the schematic, to get 8V output but...

    Retrieving data from memory (MSP430f20xx)

I am using C. Here is a picture of what I am doing. Right besides a debugger...I have no way of reading the msp430.

    Retrieving data from memory (MSP430f20xx)

Ok. Forget telnet or ssh. I have data saved in memory...all I want to do is read that memory bank to see what is the value in it...basically how can I probe that memory bank.

    Retrieving data from memory (MSP430f20xx)

It doesnt have to be ssh. I just want to access a specific location of the memory and read its value.

    Retrieving data from memory (MSP430f20xx)

Hi guys I have a MSP430f2012. I will be using it to collect and store an analog signal. Here's the basic operation. Read analog signal Do ADC conversion Store ADC somewhere in memory Repeat and overwrite for long period of time After say couple days I want to access that memory address and...

    Predicting Amplifier Output.

I'm assuming Qin (input charge) is the voltage generated from the sensor in this case?

    Predicting Amplifier Output.

Ok I am working out on the tf please correct my logic. Since this is an inverting I am using the equation A=-Zf/Zs where Zf is R1||C1 which is R1/(1+s*C1*R1). I am a little confused on R2 and R3. How I am treating those to resistors?

    Predicting Amplifier Output.

I'm not asking for the transfer function, I want to know how to approach in a analysis level.

    Predicting Amplifier Output.

Hi I am new to op-amps design. I would like to know how can I mathematically predict the output of a design. I want to setup the design based on the suggested design but dont know how to select for the different values of the components.

Analog muxing with only 1 power source.

I'm thinking of mosfet. still getting comfortable with them. If using mosfet do I need another suppy voltage? is it possible to use my "Vs" for supply and as an output?

Analog muxing with only 1 power source.

Here is a really simplified idea of what I am trying to get at. . If J1=1, Vo=GND, if J1=0,Vo=Vs. Of course this is not what I want because while J1 is '1' current will drain to ground. I want to isolate the circuit (not power on at all) when J1 is '1' and when only J1 is open that's when...

Analog muxing with only 1 power source.

Hi I am a recent graduate and still have a long way in learning analog design and I need help with one of my problem. I want to design some sort of 'selecting/switching mechanism' that chooses between 2 inputs (Vs and GND) to output all depending on what a third signal (Select) is, essentially...
