verilog-xl verilog 2001 PC? IC5 is not supported in windows. Only linux. Labo

Opinions on using Cadence Ultrasim for simulation

Re: C@dence Ultr@sim tao_168, Ultrasim supports all the modes of HSIM, including digital, MS, analog and spice. It also supports spectre and hspice syntax. The best thing about ultrasim is that it also handles structural verilog and ahdl. There is another newer Product called...

    Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS

And Duncan is right about amsDesigner. It supports all the languages including behavioral level. In vhdlAMS, there are some limitations when you use along with verilogAMS. Labo

    Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS

uncle_urfi, Spectre does not support verilogAMS, it supports only verilogA and ahdl(spectreHdl).

invalid verilog executable verilog Fom is right, You have to have LDV release in place for VerilogXl NC is the way to go. Labo

How to translate device model file from hspice to spectre?

spectre hspice model translate danielhs, Looks like you did not read my post(first). spp -h command will give you all the detail help includint the syntax options. Soon this will die as spectre is going to have another new parser which will take a hspice netlist/model and simulate straight. Labo

How to translate device model file from hspice to spectre?

spectre spice model translator duncan94022 should be working for cadence. Because, this IC5141 is in bet a stage. Cadence has given the access to only TOP semi companies. labo

How to translate device model file from hspice to spectre?

ads model file from spectre In near future spectre will simulate hspice models and netlist directly. So I would suggest to you to wait for few months. Labo

How to translate device model file from hspice to spectre?

import spice model spectre SPP is mainly for converting the hspice netlist to spectre netlist not meant for converting models. However, there is a switch called foundry which might be usefull in converting models. Lvevel49 is hspice proprietary model. But recently Cadence bought Celestry so...

Opinions on using Cadence Ultrasim for simulation

Re: C@dence Ultr@sim Yes, I have been using it. I like it, it offers good speed over spectre(trade off accuracy). This would kill hsim real soon. Labo

Difference between Hspice & HspiceS, Spectre and Spectre

cadence spectre spice for both spectre and spectreS the engine is the same. The real speed gain comes when you run parametric analysis. I f you run spectreS you will see that it is slower than spectre.

Difference between Hspice & HspiceS, Spectre and Spectre

spectre hspice Rfsystem, I don't agree with you. Native spectre(or direct spectre) is fast. You are right about the slow socket simulation & spice, spectre switch syntax though. spectreS is nothing but Socketed spectre. The socket comes from old cadence spice called cdsSpice. All the third...
