1. You must use 27MHz FUNDAMENTAL quarz (1-st obertone), maybe you use 27MHz 3-th obertone quarz?
2. Probe capacity can be too high for normal oscillation. Your must connect 1:10 probe with lower capacity.
We are planing to use this decoder. Which layout are you useing (4 or 2 layers)
We made prototype board on STV2310 and have some problems with it.
I need correct application circuit, or working schematic with this chip.
Documentation on ST site can't solve my problem.

RF amplifier routing
I have some problems with RF amplifier routing.
Our amplifier has STRIPLINE elements, calculated by RF engineer. The board haven't empty space for it. Can i modify form of this elements saving actual length or we must recalculate all STRIPLINEs? Workin frequency is 400MHz.
