It is too complicate to draw it with an equation base curve I guess. Use instead the duplicate along line and unit options on your rectangles. Use variables intelligently to draw the antenna. You'll get automatically the interesting parameters to optimize your antenna.
I found the solution. In LeonardoSpectrum one have to use the -downto parameter for the write command like this:
write -format VHDL -downto PRIMITIVES output.vhd
This will write the technology cells along with the synthesized code for post RTL simulation.
So far as I know:
1. you need a PDK (process design kit) from a foundry. You have to sign a NDA to get the library. Otherwise, if you want to test and experience layout in L-Edit I suggest you to download FreePDK (https://www.eda.ncsu.edu/wiki/FreePDK). This is a PDK for education purpose. Once...
Hello everyone,
I'm new in the digital world. I'm looking how I can generate a VHDL file representing the cells of the PDK library.
In brief, I've a RTL/VHDL code I synthesis with LeonardoSpectrum. I want now to perform a post-synthesis simulation and put back the synthesized VHDL in the...
Hello everyone,
I have an EDIF netlist generated from Leonardo Spectrum (Digital synthesizer).
I try to setup the SPR of Tanner L-Edit with that file but I got the message : "There was no TDB standard cell library selected." when I hit the "Initialize Setup" button (I'm using Tanner Tools...
Non-manifold objects are objects with mixed dimensionality: for example a pair of 2D objects connected by a 1D line. Use the Model Analysis tool in HFSS to identify these erroneous objects (or simply by examining your structure). Try another way to create your antenna in order to avoid mixed...
I've simulated your CPWG design. I haven't changed anything and I get the results attached in the text file below.
I use HFSS v13 however.
Maybe you should try to refine your mesh, especially for the high frequencies. I don't know the possibilities of HFSS 10.
In my case I've the following...
In this system there is 3 types of loss:
1. Eddy current loss
2. Hysteresis loss
3. Residual loss
The current circulating in the metal plate will cause joule heat loss and this is called eddy current loss.
The magnetic field inside the metal plate does not return to its original state. The...
Non-manifold means that some geometries have mixed dimensions and cannot be manufactured. In your case you have a 3D object which touches itself at a point or edge, look at the picture bellow:
Your circular tubes are to close to the the middle tube.Try to expand the the thin edge pointed...

Can you give more details about your problem?
Once you've created the cylinder, you must create inside this cylinder a 2D rectangular shape on which an excitation should be applied.
To doing so simply right-click on your cylinder in the hierarchy view (or in the 3D view) and...
