We know that the radiation pattern of a patch antenna fed by a coaxial cable is monopole-type pattern.
I already got this kind of trivial example from CST help.
Then, I just scaled it to make the antenna resonate at high frequency, let's say around 50 GHz.
Everything seems quite simple, but...
semiconductor devices by sendra
Does anybody have "Semiconductor Device Fundamentals" by Pierret
I would like to show my highly approciate ang donate some point for any share!
Thanks in advance!
Hi, jian
thanks for your helpful advice
I have tried but i have not figured out how to come up to what you told me.
can you please spend a couple of minutes to design and upload it here?
Let 's assume about my simplest case as I described.
Thank you very much!
(Sorry I bother you)
Hi everyone,
I am designing a THz antenna!
Assume that we have 2 microstrip line apart by a distance d!
My problem is that how to apply a dc bias voltage to these terminal of the MS Lines in Ie3d simulator, 1 terminal with dc+ and another with dc- ?
Has anyone experienced this situation...
how to design antenna in cadfeko
Thanks eastern!
I have tried this way! There may have a little bit difficult , but ...that is the only way , i think!
Added after 5 hours 28 minutes:
do you know how to import from ADFEKO to EDIT FEKO?
the opposite is impossible, isn't it?
Thanks!
cadfeko
Does anyone have an example or know how to design a coaxial cable for antenna feeding in CADFEKO!?
There are 2 scripting examples in EDITFEKO, but it is quite difficult to understand and it seems impossible to implement again in CADFEKO.
Please share any advice or experience...
feko coaxial
Does anyone experience coaxial cable feeding design in Feko?
Let's say if I wanna design a coaxial cable undernearth the infinite ground plane and use the inner conductor for antena excitation!
It is quite easy in MWS, but in FEKO...
Please share me any example or any advice...
Can you upload your structure image for a close view ?
For a microstrip line feeding, a waveguide port is usually used!
I am dealing with waveguide port problem in my project!
Hope to help you!
Hi all,
In solver setup, we have an adaptive meshing for stable and accuracy improvement!
Let's say if I use the Confinement Strategy "Energy Based" to run a quite complicated model. After some passes, I get a converge condition (Maximum Delta S<0.02, or Port impedance ~ 50ohm), and the...
thank you snkhan,
I have tested and seen it right!
Actually, when we use a "full plane" wave guide port, we have a Line impedance near of 50 ohm, however, the radiation and total efficiency is very low (only less than 20%)! It is found that these efficiency would be raised with the reducing of...
cpw ground width
thanks shahid78,
then I should define the waveguide port for my microtrip line that just only touch the ground (like of DrunkBear) of over the ground (like of nhomuathu_hanoi)
regards,
cst port homogeneous
Thanks shahid78,
It seems that g does not exist in my structure
(picture)
then, how can I apply such those formulas above?
regards
Added after 1 minutes:
my structure is using a vertical ground plane, as seen, its one side is ground (below side in the picture)
thanks...
what is portsettings
HI
I agree with DrunkBear, so I think, the width of port should not so big!
Then, if we use a ground with transmission line, should we make the CPW port over the ground (look like Ungrounded CPW port defined by nhomuathu_hanoi), or it just only touches the ground as in the...
