hello,
i have a problem, if we have a coil e.g. lamp or any electrical devices in home(or conactors) that is controlled by a switch if i switch off the coil it is supposed to make a voltage spike(positive or negative) my question is how does home devices survive this voltage spike i know the...
hello,
I'm making a controller to control a milling machine , the machine has a box where the control buttons should be arranged , I have the electronic control circuits , and I also have some buttons that control some 220v ac contactors , the problem is that the magnetic field caused by the...
for a bootstrap circuit http://www.irf.com/technical-info/appnotes/an-978.pdf
what i am asking is can i calculate the gate resistance by the discharging of the bootstrap capacitor as i know the capacitance of the bootstrap and the voltage across it but for the igbt all i know that it take...
hello i am confused about the propagation delay and the rise and fall time the datasheet here https://www.ram-e-shop.com/ds/74xx/74125.pdf express tpd=30ns for example, but the rise and fall time delay is 500ns how can i calculate the whole delay
ok but when the high side mosfet is switched on the voltage across the Vs pin will be equal to the input voltage (drain voltage) so the diode is forward biased so the capacitor will be charged again
thank you for reply
in this design tips i don't know how it gonna be when Vs is equal to input voltage(high side mosfet is on) by putting the diode like that i make a path for the volt to recharge(the capacitor is charged by vcc through diode i gonna recharge it with the Vs value) the capacitor...
i am asking about the zener diode Ds is it zener diode or not, design tips DT99-7 put a symbol of zener diode?! http://www.irf.com/technical-info/designtp/dt99-7.pdf figure 2
if it is a zener diode am i using it to keep a positive voltage difference between Vb and Vs (equal to zener voltage) to...
how to fix this?
but when i remove the capacitor the circuit works fine, when i put it back the voltage jump to the input volt
---------- Post added at 11:42 ---------- Previous post was at 11:32 ----------
i'am checking the implementation first on a breadboard
there is a note when i remove the capacitor from the schematic the voltage across the load(resistance) is equal to the desired output due to duty cycle problem solved but when i connect the capacitor again the voltage jump to 15 volt(input voltage) and the voltage across the capacitor does not...
it respond with the same values, could the problem be the current because the mosfet act as it is floating(not connected) because i have tried the schematic that i upload several times and it works, does the input current has to do with any thing while designing buck converter?
