Yes everything green means its on one(Top) layer. Have not shown any underlying layers.
So, basically the question was whether it is good practice to connect Diode Copper pad to surrounding Copper as shown in the picture i posted today
OR
the first picture from yesterday is better choice...
Hi
I have a Power connection passing from Diode to Surrounding Vias and into underlying Power Plane.
Current through this Power Connection would be maximum 2-3A.
Just wondering if routing the copper lines directly from Diode to only 3 vias is a good practice? There is Copper plane surrounding...
Hi
Have encountered this issue over and over again that it is quite difficult to Solder a Wire or Connector to Through Hole Ground Pin
with orthogonal connection to the Surrounding Copper(Ground) Plane as shown here:
Top Layer connection is 0.2mm wide and Bottom Layer Connection is 0.4mm...
Hi
I have a module which is using Hirose DF11-4DP-2DSA (Page 10)Straight Pin Header.
I want to mate it with a 4-Pin Through Hole Receptable(don't have space for SMT Type) but Hirose does not offer DF11-4DS-2DSA. It means they don't have any receptable below 6 pins.
I tried using SQT-102-01-L-D...
Hi
I recently got a message from our PCB Manufacturer that for the Samtec EHT-108-01-L-D Connector:
<<they got notified that these connectors have an older date code than 18 months.
The date code on these are 2034.
Is this acceptable?>>
What does date code mean? And how does it affect these...
Hi
I have this 16 wire Flat Cable: https://no.mouser.com/ProductDetail/3M-Electronic-Solutions-Division/3625-16-30M?qs=iIqIgu6cv%252BTZS%252BLjtF9Zbg%3D%3D
which i want to mount on this Samtec Connector: TCSD-08-01-N
After contacting their customer support, they said that they don't offer...
Basically it is this cable with usb connector at one end and open on the other end. https://ftdichip.com/products/usb-rs422-we-5000-bt/
So i was terminating the open end with a 9 pin Dsub. The remaining 4pins i dont know where should i terminate.
Hi
I encountered a soldering problem while soldering 2 wires to my PCB.
The hole on the top is for GND and the below one is for Power.
The wire is not getting properly soldered in the Ground Hole, while not much of a problem on the Power Hole.
The heat from the ground hole is getting spread...
Hi I am trying to figure out what could be the possible pinouts for the rest of the pins on a D-Sub 9 Pin Male Connector.
I have only 5 pins necessary for RS-422 Communication as shown here:
But can't figure out the rest of the 4 pins(1,4,6 and 9) should go namely: CTS+, CTS-, RTS+ and RTS-.
I...
Unfortunately I have very little information.
When it comes to Cable Pinouts, i could find out that these Analog_In_2 and Analog_In_1 signals were going to these AD8628 Op-amps:
The outputs from these Op-amps was connected to a 16:1 Multiplexer.
Hi
I have an instrument which I want to connect with my cable. I just want to know how to connect Analog Signals between the instrument and my cable.
The instrument has following pinouts:
Here shown Pin5 and 6:
But on my cable i have the following Pinouts:
So, wondering if Pin5 from Instrument...
Hi
I am using MAX3160 in half-duplex mode. It means i am using Pins 5(TX1_Z_DI) and 6(TX1_Y_RTS) of this chip:
I want to connect this MAX3160 chip to a device which has Pinout like this:
So, wondering if i am doing it correct below:
Pin5 of MAX3160(TX1_Z_DI) connected to 485-(Pin4/Green) of...
